She's my favorite human in the whole wide world. Not that I know many, but I like her best. And she's very good at her job -- taking care of me.But I have to say sometimes she is so inconsiderate. Would a little common courtesy be too much to ask? I mean, really.Every morning, just as I've settled down for my first nap of the day in one of my favorite places -- the sink -- she has the audacity to [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p  style=" text-align: left; "><small>Let me start by saying I love my mom. She's my favorite human in the whole wide world. Not that I know many, but I like her best. And she's very good at her job -- taking care of me.<br /><br />But I have to say sometimes she is so inconsiderate. Would a little common courtesy be too much to ask? I mean, really.<br /><br />Every morning, just as I've settled down for my first nap of the day in one of my favorite places -- the sink -- she has the audacity to pick me up and set me on the floor. The floor!<br /><br />Does she not notice the closed eyes? The contented purr? Hello! I'm sleeping here! Trying to, anyway.<br /><br />She's always apologetic, saying something about having to brush her teeth and get ready for work so she can pay for kitty food. She makes it sound like I'm in the way. As if!<br /><br />Now if it only happened every now and then, I suppose I wouldn't be so annoyed. There's breakfast to eat, naps to take and humans to trip. For me, there's just one human. At least one full-time human. My mom. She likes to think she's the boss of me, and I'm generally OK with that. But every now and then she needs a gentle reminder that we both know better. The key to these reminders is timing.
